Monthly Wellness Stipend
The Benefit
We offer $100/month as a taxable stipend you can use to help pay for eligible wellness expenses!
Claims are required to be submitted for the quarter the cost is incurred, no retroactive claims will be accepted. (e.g. a Q1 claim would require a receipt for a cost incurred in January - March and submitted by the deadline of March 31st).
$100/month stipend can be accumulated throughout the quarter; however, you are required to be use any accumulated funds by the end of each quarter. Your account balance resets at the beginning of each quarter due to the quarterly reset policy.
*New hires are eligible for the Wellness Stipend starting on the 1st of the month following your hire date.
Acceptable items include:
Fitness or wellness classes (including virtual)
- Fitness Counseling 
- Smoking Cessation Products 
- Mindfulness related activities (e.g. Headspace, Calm subscription) 
- Excludes: recreational activities like skiing/snowboarding lessons/passes, horseback riding, etc. 
- Athletic Event Registration Fees 
- Monthly/annual Gym/studio/fitness membership 
- Fitness classes (e.g. Classpass Go, Beachbody) 
- Wellness Classes 
- Nutrition Classes/Nutritionist/Counseling/Apps (e.g. Noom) 
- Weight Management Counseling 
At home gym equipment
- Stationary bike, rower, elliptical 
- Fitness Trackers (i.e. Apple Watch, FitBit, Oura Ring, etc.) 
- Excludes: apparel, shoes, water bottles, supplements, etc.

*These items are also eligible HRA and Healthcare FSA expenses. If you submit a wellness claim for any HRA/FSA eligible item and have unused HRA/FSA funds, it will be reimbursed from your HRA first. Once your HRA dollars have been exhausted, it will be reimbursed from your Healthcare FSA (if applicable), and then wellness once others are exhausted.
Reminder: Claims are due by the last day of the month for the quarter the cost was incurred. Employees can see instructions on submitting claims on our intranet.

Behavioral Health
Headspace
Headspace is our behavioral Health partner for employees and dependents over 18 years old! Your Headspace membership includes:
- On-demand, chat based support from a certified behavioral healthcare coach 24/7. 
- 8 subsidized Therapy/Psychiatry sessions per year, for you and and up to 5 dependents (all receiving 8 sessions)! 
- A vast library of meditation, mindfulness, sleep, and stress relief exercises, podcasts, and resources. 
Why Headspace? Similar to Collective Health, Headspace thinks we deserve better - mental healthcare, that is!
Once you’ve completed your benefits enrollment in Flock, it takes 1-2 weeks for the Headspace team to activate your membership.
After they have activated your account, you can login and create your account here. Please use your @collectivehealth.com email in Step 1 to verify your account, but you may use a personal email to create your account in Step 2.
Employee Assistance Program
IBH Worklife Employee Assistance Program (EAP)
We offer an EAP through Guardian which provides you and your family with confidential, personal and web-based support on a variety of topics - like behavioral health, stress management, dependent care, fitness and legal and financial issues.
You have free access to short-term counseling (3 sessions per employee), which can be accessed by phone, chat and email. The website also contains a variety of resources.

- National Alliance on Mental Illness - The nation's largest grassroots mental health organization. They facilitate many support groups across the country and work to raise awareness and provide support by providing education programs, shaping policies through advocacy, increasing awareness and fighting stigma. They also have a HelpLine where volunteers answer questions, offer support and provide practical next steps, and people can also chat in or email the HelpLine. 800-950-6264. 
- Psychology Today - The Psychology Today therapist search tool is a detailed tool you can use to search for mental health providers. We suggest employees cross-check this with our insurance network's search tool since this one allows you to search by subject area, license, identity group, and more. 
- Disaster Distress Helpline - SAMHSA’s (Substance Abuse & Mental Health Services Administration) Disaster Distress Helpline provides 24/7, 365-day-a-year crisis counseling and support to people experiencing emotional distress related to natural or human-caused disasters. 1-800-985-5990
